Excellent food. Great service. Like always....we are regulars!!
Good food
The food was tasty but overpriced. The rotisserie chicken was very undercooked. Generally a poor experience
Food is decent, waitress really nice, overall an average Peruvian restaurant.
Very good price for a lunch menu ,not many options . Good amount of food. Not authentic Peruvian .They had no actual Peruvian hot sauce. Ordered a lomo saltado and was not impressed. But good price plenty of food but not authentic.
Great restaurant: awesome food and affordable prices. The services is also very good.
Terrible service. We were a party of six and we all were disatisfied with service and food quality. They took forever to serve us, food was extremely salty.Bad experience!!!!
Very nice service and employee and kind boss
Very friendly service. Good Authentic food.
Good Peruvian food. Although the service is hit or miss.
Food was ok, but very disappointed with the portion amount. I've paid fifty dollars for two dinner plates to go, and when I open the boxes it was not what I was expecting for the price paid out. I will not return to this place, I felt stolen... $46.01 + Tip $4.00 Dollars... TOTAL $50.01 - You decide if this is worth your money.
Awesome food, great freindly service and family owned. Try the ceviche, it is so good, you won't be disappointed.
Worst Experience ever, couldn't even eat the food. very bad. VERY EXPENSIVE!! also they include the tip on the receipt and it says ''tip not included'' SCAM. ARROZ CHAUFA WITH AROUND 3 SHRIMPS!!
Food is fresh taste and great tasting , service was fast, the decor nice and place was roomy.
Juicy steak and overall good quality peruvian food. The ceviche was on point.
Delicious, great service and delicious dessert
Kind of expensive but you get what you paid for.Amazing food very good quality dishes
I usually take advantage of delivery dudes for my food from this place. I was in the area and decided to have a sit down meal and the food was excellent, staff very attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable with a home like feeling. A true gem.
Very authentic Peruvian food. Service was busy but attentive. Excellent deal for lunch. Will be going back.
Good food and reasonably priced!
Food is good waiter was great but the prices on the menu is different than what the owner writes the check for ( he charges more ) and if tips are paid with in credit the owner keeps it not the waiter , what is more upsetting is the owner had the stones to tell me why am I complaining for a few dollars ( $8 ) .
Good all around...
Great service and great peruvian food yummy . Ricky is the best
I had my first encounter with Peruvian cuisine at this restaurant 4 years ago and I have been coming back once every few months. I also made a trip to Peru in the meantime and I think the food at Las Cholitas is very authentic. The place is never too crowded and it has a nice atmosphere. I could start naming all the delicious Peruvian dishes I recommend but it would be a long list... Friendly stuff and really good food. I will be coming back for sure.
Yummy Pollo a la brasa peruvian style!
Ok so were expecting to wait because of the reviews but our food came out relatively quickly. Food was really good BUT, I ordered something with sweet potato, shrimp & avocado and it had 1 slice of avocado...in the picture the avocado slices were all around it. It also had too much sauce. The chicken tamale had literally 1 bite of chicken and 1 olive in it, that's it. It was basically LOTS of corn meal, but tamales should be stuffed. Again, tasty, but they are cutting some corners.
All I can say is the service was TERRIBLE and it took FOREVER to get our food. We were a party of 7 and it took them an hour to get us our appetizer that is unheard of when its fried yuca. I was the 1st to get my food than two other got their food 10 min later the rest of the party didnt get there food for another 20 mins can you tell me why that acceptable?????? Side note all the food was super salty and they only had one girl working on a Friday night, for the amount of money they are asking for food at this place you can go to a million other places and be more satisfied. I will never go to this place again and I suggest you dont waste your time or money there either.
Excellent food and good service! This is a small family run restaurant and quickly became our favorite local restaurant! Always fresh and flavorful!
This is my favorite place for Peruvian food!!! I'm here almost every Sunday for the Desayuno Lurin....The service here is great and I truly feel like they are extended family. When you come ask for Ricky he's awesome
They will gladly take your money for overpriced food that they pass off as Peruvian, but you have to have good quality, tasty, fresh food, ambiance, cleanliness, and customer service in order to survive in this business....not sure how they manage to stay open!
Very good Peruvian food. Excellent quality for the price, and the place is well taken care of. The bathrooms are squeaky clean
Great food at reasonable prices
Red curry sauce is amazingly exquisite, although the lo mein was greasy, the dine in experience was on point.
This place sucks. My daughter was crying of hunger due to the fact it took almost an hour to get some bread on the table. Not to mention they couldn't even remember two juices along with one bottle of Inca kola. That was 3 drinks..... The whole meal consisted of chasing after a waitress for forgotten items. I was part of party of 8 and after almost 3 hours we gave up before my entree arrived. Never. Again.
Bad customer's, and employees and owner do not care about
Service was excellent. Food was awesome traditional Peruvian. Soup, ceviche, seafood and drinks were fresh and flavorful.
Very disappointed, food is ok but they serve small portions and they raised the prices for a small piece of food
This place sucks! Expensive (overpriced) and low quality food.. all dried ..no flavor.....My advice do not bother... there are far better places...
Superb -- The food (ceviche and arroz con carne suco) and the service were very good.
Very nice quaint restaurant. I enjoy it every time I go.
I went to this restaurant with a couple of friends, I ordered Parihuela Especial fish and seafood soup, that was the worst soup I ever had in my entire life, very salty, 2 tiny little pieces of seafood for $16.00, they also included a $3.50 tip on the bill. Also, they did not even included rice or any sides dishes just a plain water down soup. The wait was very, very long, it took 50 minutes to get this joke of a soup. I love Peruvian food but this restaurant gives Peruvian food a bad name. My other friends ordered Jalea Especial Mixta they also did not like the food, they are also not coming back to this joke of a restaurant. I don't believe that there is a real Peruvian chef in the kitchen.
This is one of our favorite Peruvian restaurants to go to. The food is usually pretty good. We've tried many of their soups and the flavor of the food is usually very consistent. We go to a lot of Peruvian restaurants in Dade and Broward. Las Cholitas is one of our favorites. It's so hard to find anyone in Florida who wants to work. Just remember, if your server hustles for you, TIP THEM WELL so they don't quit!!! I am so sick and tired of the turn over. The turnover is so rampant because of customers who don't do the 20% tipping. The foreign people are the WORST tippers. Those people are what make the good servers quit. If a server could make a good $700-1000/wk then you'd have excellent service every time you came in and the turnover rate would be next to nothing. When you tip $10 on a $100 meal just because you're a tightwad, you're doing a disservice to all of us who are patrons of that restaurant.
Overpriced, food taste was okay very homey like but not enough serving for the price. Would not recommend.
Nice staff and wonderful food!
The ceviche is better than in Peru!
Good buffet lunch
Very impressed. Had the best Peruvian food I've had in the area at this restaurant. Not as fancy as some of the other Peruvian choices nearby, but the food trumps all.
Food is excellent..👍👍👍👍
The food it's OK however the service is the worst ever. My kids had to wait 45 mins for the waitress to tell me that they didn't have the plate that my son ordered. after that I had to pick another plate which he took another half an hour. Honestly for the quality of food I will go to another place where I get a much better service
Service is consistently bad. Servers are usually in a bad mood. I went there quite a few times because the food is good.
